Who is this dog for?

My wife and I currently have two Corgis.
One is Ellie, who is a sable color and is almost 14 years old and in poor health.
The other is Henry, who is tri-color and is coming up on 10 months old.
We think that once Ellie is gone that Henry will be very upset and will do better if he has companionship with another Corgi brother or sister.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
we believe another Corgi will be the best for Henry, who is a very loving, energetic Corgi. we love the playfulness and intelligence of the Corgis, although they can be very stubborn.

Activities planned with Pembroke:

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
If it is an accident in the house, say, no and remove the object.
If he does not come when called, we whistle and rattle a treat container to entice him to come and then say good boy when he finally does come.

Discipline:
usually saying no, or leave it when he is into something.
rewarding coming with training treats.
using a leash when outdoors at night

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
in the house with my wife and other Corgis or outside in the yard.
Henry, our young Corgi has been trained to ring or jingle bells on the front door to go outside. He rings the bells frequently.
