 We live in an urban forest on a private road 1/2 mile west of 101 and 2/5 miles north of 6, in Plymouth, MN 55447. The property is about two acres of wooded land, and the house is one story. There is an indoor swimming pool separated from the kitchen by sliding glass doors, which are kept closed. This has not been a problem with previous dogs including the corgi that we had until she had to be put down.

 Our family. We said goodbye to our 13.5-year-old Pembroke Corgi on July 12, 2019. We would like to adopt a corgi to be part of our family.

 Our 10 year old dachshund JJ recently died due to a degenerative spinal disease, after a spinal surgery, so we're looking to bring adopt a dog. We've had neighbors with corgis and really loved the breed, and always thought we'd love to have a corgi as a future dog. We have researched the breed and feel it would fit in well with our suburban lifestyle.

 With JJ, we've taken him on trips, often go to the park / dog park, for daily walks, and playing at our house. We have a large suburban house with fenced in back yard. Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I have been researching PWC for awhile now and I would love to adopt one. They see like great companions to have with good personalities. They aren't too small, but not too big either. Perfect size and temperament for our family.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Go for lots of walks. We will be moving shortly to a new apartment that will be close to walking trails, parks, and a farmers market. I will also take them to my parents, who live in the country with two dogs of their own. There are also 3 dog parks in my city, so I would love to take them to the dog park as well. Our cat loves to lounge and watch TV with us, we I'm sure we will have our lazy days as well!
