Who is this dog for?

Me! I am a 55 year old woman ~ I live and work at my business address. My flower shop is on the main floor, and I live upstairs. I have a greenhouse outside and a large garden lot (plenty of room for play) I just lost my beloved 13 year old Bud recently and I miss him so!! My dog is with me 24/7 and goes to work with me everyday. Corgis love delivering and playing the garden and hanging out in the greenhouse. No tail is great for working in the flower shop as he won't knock things over:) Please consider me ~ My apartment is too clean and my heart is too empty:(

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I could love any dog, but a Corgi is just my kind of dog! Bud became very expensive, scratched corneas, hip issues, enlarged heart ~ no expense was spared. I have no children, so my dog is my child.

Working, walking, playing, cuddling and socializing ~ he would be with me ALWAYS, never alone!

Who is this dog for?

This corgi would be for myself. I live alone in a two bed, two bath ranch in the country. I live right across from the Ripon Southwoods, which is a hiking trail. I live by myself, my two sons are grown, and I am 51. I would walk my corgi at least 2-3× a day, for 20-30 minutes or so. The corgis living quarters would be on the main floor, in my second living room area. I am receiving disability payments of $804 per month. I am actively looking for a job. My disability isn't physical, I have Ausbergers, a mild form of autism.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
My younger son's Dad had one, and it was the sweetest dog on the earth. I've been in love with them since. (Since about 2010)

Rosalind and Robert Mayberry

Why do you want a Pembroke?
We have had dogs all of our lives, both of us as in our growing up families and we have always had dogs in our married life together. Our last 2 dogs were corgis, the most recent from Lakeshore Corgi Rescue. Corgis are magical–loving, smart, funny, hard working, helpful. I believe I have read almost everything written on these amazing creatures.

Play, walk, cuddle, talk to, read to, sing to, find jobs for…

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
I have found that a stern quiet "no" has always worked for me. I hate to use the crate for time out because both of our corgis seemed to think the crate was their "space."

Discipline:
Firm, quiet voice only.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
In the house with us. We do have an enclosed dog yard, but usually I stay outside with her or leave the door into the yard pen so she can come or go as she pleases.

My mother and myself.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I love the friendly and intelligent nature of the dog. Having encountered a neighbor's Corgi, I was struck by its beautiful coat and its surprisingly levels of energy.
