Why do you want a Pembroke?
I work at a vet clinic and we see corgis often. They seem to be great family dogs which is what I'm looking for. I have done research on the breed and I am very familiar with them

Telling them "no", time out (outside for a few minutes if they have an accident to teach them to go outside), taking toys away when they chew things up. I don't agree with "spanking" a dog as it could easily cause aggression or make the dog scared of its owners.
