Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I'm looking for a smaller dog to compliment our family. I don't have specific experience with the breed, but do have family friends who own one and have done research on the breed.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 take it on walks with our other dog, play fetch in the back yard and take it with us wherever we go (as much as feasible)

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
 in the beginning it would be confined to the main level of our house, until we see how it acts with house training and interacting with our current dog. then it will be able to roam in more spaces throughout the house
