Who is this dog for?

This Pembroke will be a family pet.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
This Corgi will primarily be for my Daughter. She has fallen in love with the breed over the years. The reason for that is she finds them to be sweet, loyal, and friendly. She also loves their features and amazing personalities.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Many activities that we commonly do are go on walks in the woods and we go to many horse shows. For the horse shows, the dogs are not allowed off a leash so there would be no free wandering.

Aware that Pembrokes are busy, noisy dogs?
Yes

Willing to house train?

Willing to do formal training? Yes

Do you have a veterinarian?

Yes

Vet contact info:
{If yes, please provide contact information including the vet’s name, clinic name, street address, city, state, zip, and phone. Also include the website if there is one.:52}

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
We would tell them off for their bad behavior and move on. We understand that all dogs like to be mischievous and naughty from time to time, and they should not be severely punished for that.

Discipline:
We usually just make the dog realize that they have been bad. The farthest we would go would to put the dog in their crate, but that rarely happens.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
They would spend most of their time at our house.

Where would dog eat?
In our kitchen.

Where would dog sleep:
In the master bedroom, or my daughter's bedroom.

Play & exercise:
The corgi would be able to get a good amount of (monitored) time outside in our yard. We also do many activities surrounding horseback riding which involves a large amount of time outside, so they would get much needed play and exercise.
