Who is this dog for?

Me

Why do you want a Pembroke?
Growing up in the horse world and rodeoing I have a lot of experience with corgi's, although I have never owned one I have owned heelers which is another challenging herding breed and I absolutely love them.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Go to the barn, where my dog can be in a pen while I ride, or if well behaved could be loose while I ride. We would also go visit my parents and their dogs, go on walks in town, haul with me to barrel races, etc.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
Would try to correct the behavior with positive reinforcement. I like to teach my dogs to come and lay down, so when their is any unwanted behavior I can get them to come to me and focus on me and not the unwanted behavior.

Discipline:
Positive reinforcement, all of my dogs have been trained by a reward of praise or treats.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
In my apartment or at the barn with me.

In the kitchen, outer edge closer to the living room.

Where would dog sleep:
In my bed, or in a kennel or dog bed in my room, depending on the dog.

Play & exercise:
I ride 5 days a week roughly so there is plenty of room to run at the barn, and 2 heelers to play with. I also walk everyday for exercise for myself so if I received an active corgi I would definitely take he or she.
