Questions Regarding Motivation for Adopting and Intentions
Who is this dog for?	Myself, I live alone with one cat.
Why do you want a Pembroke?	I love the breed because they are loyal and usually are outgoing and good with kids. I am very close to my family so it is important to have a trustworthy dog. And, of course, they are so cute!
Activities planned with Pembroke:	We would go for walks daily, as there is a walking path by my house. We would go on road trips (about an hour at a time) to see my family. He/She would definitely be spoiled to bits. My neighbors have smaller dogs also, so we would be able to play with them, too!
Aware that Pembrokes are busy, noisy dogs?	Yes

Discipline:	If he/she goes pee or poop on the carpet, they will be kenneled up. If they run away, a light scold. If they attack another dog or human, a light scold will also be in place. heavier depending on how out of hand it got.
Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:	When at work, he/she will be in the indoor/outdoor porch attached to my house as outdoor kennels/chains are not allowed where I live. When I am home, he/she will be wherever they please in the house, probably wherever I am!

Where would dog eat?	I keep my cats food in the kitchen by the fridge currently, so I would probably keep them both in the kitchen as not to disturb the chemistry.
Where would dog sleep:	In the kennel until house broken, after that they can sleep in my room with me.
Play & exercise:	I live in a house so he/she will have a yard to run in but also, as stated before, there is a walking trail in my neighborhood that goes right by my house that we would walk on.

Description of yard:	I have a small front yard as well as a medium sized back yard with a one stall garage and a fire pit in the center of the yard. The main used door is the back door so this is where the Pembroke would be most times if outside.

Are you willing to work on it if your new dog doesn’t get along with your current pets right away?	Yes, my cat can be iffy sometimes but never mean. If she doesn't like the other animal she will stare from a distance and sometimes hide, but never will attempt to hurt the other animal. I had another cat who passed a few months ago from an asthma attack and they didn't love each other but were able to co-exist just fine.
