Who is this dog for?

Our family.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
We have owned a Corgi in the past. It was a show dog, but the Corgi expressed no interest in being a show dog so the owner sold the dog. Our family purchased him, named him Chaz and he remained our family dog until he passed. He was a sweet, loyal and loving dog that was great with other dogs, and loved his naps.
We have children now, and would love to add another Corgi to our family.
Since we owned one in the past, we did thorough research then, and now we have spent a few months discussing what breeds would be best with out children and dog. We keep going back to the size, weight, loyalness and temperament of the corgi. We are an active family but do have regular downtime with naps. We are outside quite often and know Corgis are adventurous and like to stay busy!

Activities planned with Pembroke:
We would go on long walks together.
We have a huge fenced in backyard with a dog door the Corgi would have full access to at any time to explore and sniff out new adventures.
We play fetch, tug-a-war, and snuggle.
