Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I had a Corgi before and she was a perfect fit for our family. She was a stray that was unclaimed at animal control in the city I work in. Her small size allowed us to take her and our other dog on trips with us. I am familiar with excessive shedding and barking that is common in the breed. I am also aware of common health issues.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Walking, playing in the yard, shopping at "pets allowed" stores, and overall companionship.

 At home. We prefer our dogs have free roam of the home at all times but that is something that depends on each dog. If necessary the dog may be kenneled during night time hours or when I am away from the home.
